Darkest Hunters

Darkest Hunters is an RPG with a combat system similar to 'Puzzle Quest' where you have to hunt tons of different monsters. The final objective: to gain enough power to destroy the Lord of Darkness.

The combat system in Darkest Hunters is relatively original. Basically, you have to move your hero on a board full of colored gems that will provide you with different elements. When you match green gems, you can cure your hero, while the blue gems give you mana. That said, the enemies will also move around this board ... and if you're not careful, they'll kill you.

Between combats, you can visit the different stores in the village. Here you can buy new weapons and armor, and you can also recruit new heroes or create new spells to destroy monsters more easily. When you reach level 20, you can also participate in online battles against other players.

Darkest Hunters is a great combination of role-playing and puzzles that offers awesome retro graphics and tons of missions (over 300). It's a really fun title that manages to provide something new to the well known 'Puzzle Quest' formula.
